BABY BOOMER YEARBOOK

Happy to have scored Baby Boomer Yearbook, a new documentary directed by Randal Kleiser (Grease, Blue Lagoon, Flight of the Navigator, White Fang). Randal Kleiser was co-editor of his high school yearbook in 1964 and wrote about each of his classmates. Inspired by Michael Apted’s Up series, he returned to interview them in the position of their yearbook photos in ten-year increments over a period of 50 years.

“Someone Needed Me the Most” I wrote with my friend and founding band member Jimmy Pankow and Emmy winning lyricist Dennis Spiegel. We were fortunate enough to have the legendary Bobby Kimball from Toto sing some amazing preachy vocals on the song. Neil Donell knocked the lead vocals out of the park. I was lucky enough to produce and arrange the original tracks and play keyboards.

THE SANTA HAT

The Santa Hat starring Ed Asner and Michael Urie tells the story of an unemployed and desperate man who receives a gift that takes him back in time where he must choose between financial prosperity to save his home & the things of life or forgiveness to save himself. Alongside Asner and Urie, The Santa Hat company includes Lucie Arnaz, Levi Kreis, Rachael Ruiz, Gregory Jbara, Stephen Wallem, and Michael Stewart. The Santa Hat, written and produced by Teresa L. Thome & Patrick W. Ziegler, is directed by Danny Salles with music by Greg O’Connor. This special virtual reading is raising funds for The Actors Fund, Grand Rapids Combined Theatre Scholarship Fund, The Ed Asner Family Center and Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.

Coming Dec 8th on Netflix and DVD: Bobbleheads the Movie, the Universal Pictures animated film I scored…starring Cher, Luke Wilson, Jennifer Coolidge, Khary Peyton, Julian Sands, Karen Fukuhara, Hala Finley and Brenda Song. I also co-wrote 4 featured songs for the film with my genius friend Michael Lloyd who also produced the songs and music supervised. Cher is featured in our song “Born to Bobble”. The movie was directed by Beauty and the Beast director Kirk Wise and produced by Mortal Kombat producer Lawrence Kasanoff. Soundtrack will be available digitally Dec 4th.

ADG AWARDS 2020

Music directing the 24th Annual Art Directors Guild Awards. Got to reunite with my amazing friends from our MadTV days actress-comedian Debra Wilson and production designer John Sabato. Special thanks to technical director Evan Bates for making my job easier. Congrats to Scott Moses for an incredible job producing this show, director Lionel Max Pasamonte, all the nominees and winners from this great organization. Production design is and has always been my favorite craft in the entertainment industry, besides music of course.
